This weekend I constructed the main part of the compressor tester. I was able to adapt the AC line fitting to work for the compressor and opened the line back up to allow flow. It is fastened to a rubber hose with a hose clamp.
At the other end is a threaded pneumatic fitting fastened with another hose clamp and threaded in to a length of PVC drain pipe.
The compressed air will fill fill the pipe and flow through the anemometer allowing me to get the speed of flow. The only remaining step is to fasten the anemometer to the end of the pipe. Hopefully I will test the compressor late this week or by the beginning of next week.
