With the engine volume measurement complete the next big task is testing the compressor. To perform the test I designed a compressor testing device that uses an anemometer and a vessel with a diameter that is the same size as the opening in the anemometer. This design will allow me to determine the airflow volume of the compressor at various speeds to see if it needs to be over or under driven when feeding the engine.
With the knowledge of the required amount of air for theoretical 100% or greater volumetric efficiency I can compare that to what the compressor actually produces to help tune the engine and necessary compressor pulley sizes.
